Everyday Good

Life is hard.  Because there will always be people and situations that disturb us, make us angry, sad or depressed.  But God is always good. And if we trust His love and Word we can hold on to promises such as Romans 8:28 knowing that all things will work together for the good to those of us who love Him and are called to fulfill the plans He has for our lives.  But notice that the verse says “the good” and not “my good.” 

Sometimes it’s difficult to believe that God will really take something so bad and work it for the good. But He will!  True, it’s not always in the time frame that we want or expect but He does provide the grace and strength for us while we wait. Another thing I love about this verse is that we can trust Him to take care of ALL things and not just some or most things.  God loves us!  He has great plans for us!  And even when life is hard we know that God is always good…everyday.
