Everyday Coach

I have major problems when I think I can do most everything by myself and only involve God as a sideline cheerleader rather than asking Him to be my lifetime coach.  I need to trust my Coach knowing that He’s more interested in training and changing me than He is in changing others who bug me. God wants to get me into the best shape possible to be the best of who He knows I can be!  And very often He’ll use the difficult people in my life as sandpaper to smooth out my rough edges!

I need to follow Him and His Bible with my whole heart and not just part.  Proverbs 3:5-6 tells me that if I acknowledge Him in all my ways while not leaning on my own understanding, He will make my paths straight.  Yes, that’s what I want, a coach who goes before me, training, nurturing, guiding, and equipping me with all that’s necessary to have the abundant life I long for…everyday.
