Everyday Walking Through

Isaiah 43:2 is truly a comfort from God, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you. I'm not saying it feels good to walk through deep waters and fiery flames, but you will make it through. Because God is faithful to His promises to see you through the most difficult of times or seasons.

Just don't forget the breathing part. Take deep breaths inhaling and exhaling slowly. Find a show or comedian that makes you laugh as a distraction, so your mind isn’t obsessing. And know that you’re not alone. Sharing your burden with a trusted friend or someone in a support group will help you too. Go to an AA meeting. You don’t have to be an alcoholic for that group to be helpful. I share where I am and how I am, honestly with others. I ask for prayer and then I do my best to wait on God for His healing and bringing me though. Remember, nothing is wasted with God…everyday.
